Friends of Pawtuxet Village

Our Mission:
Friends of Pawtuxet Village is a grassroots organization made of village residents, groups, and businesses working to encourage and organize community events and activities in Pawtuxet Village.

We are a volunteer group and, with the exception of our annual fundraiser, all our activities are offered free of charge and focus on bringing families together in the Village.

Our Goals:

• Support and coordinate activities that promote Pawtuxet Village as a destination to shop, eat and enjoy family activities.
• Plan and promote activities that would raise community pride, networking opportunities and volunteerism in Pawtuxet Village that would include outdoor activities, the arts, gardening, holiday & seasonal activities, and other special events.
• Bring together elders and young people in Pawtuxet Village to develop a mentoring relationship that would include, but not be limited to, youth programs and education.
• Develop activities that would promote and enhance the safety and well being of residents living in Pawtuxet Village.

Our Vision: A neighborhood that is friendly, safe, and clean; one in which neighbors know, like, support each other, and work out differences together; one that that bring neighbors together to enjoy fun activities and creates a sense of place.
