Thank you for your interest in supporting our work. the Friends of Pawtuxet Village is continually growing, and any amount of time or resource you can give will make a huge impact! Whether you are an experienced educator, looking to get involved in the Village or just looking to meet your neighbors, we can use your support! Keep checking back for updates. Below are just a few ways you can get plugged in:
Join A Committee:
Activities Committee: choose to join one or more Subcommittees for events held in Autumn, Holiday, Springtime and Summer as listed below.
Membership/Outreach: help us recruit volunteers and promote activities.

Outreach/Events:
We host a number of events that help us share the good news about our work and where we tell people how wonderful it is to live in Pawtuxet Village. If you are enthusiastic about our mission, love talking to people and/or can help with teardown and set up, we would love you as a tabling or event volunteer. You can also help us reach as many people as possible by helping us put up posters/flyers at area businesses and community centers.
Individuals and groups from schools, universities, community groups and businesses are welcome to volunteer with us. If you live in Pawtuxet Village, this is a great way to get involved in our local community, share your ideas and share your love of the Village. If you are a student from Warwick or Cranston in need of community service, contact us!

Become a Steward - We host two “little libraries” in Pawtuxet Village. They function on the honor system; everyone contributes to ensure there are always quality books inside. However, to ensure that the library is clean, safe and kept orderly, we will need local residents to serve as stewards year-round.
Our Annual Fundraiser held in the Fall - We need help promoting the event: distributing flyer and posters outside of the Village. Also, visiting local eateries to drop off and collect paperwork; help with set up of door prizes the day of the event; take a shift to sit at the registration table the day of the event.

First Weekend in December - We need help with the any or all of the following: distributing flyers around the Village and outlying neighborhoods (take some with you to the neighborhood where you work); decorating the children's Christmas tree on Sat. 11/28/20; setting up luminarias in the park on Sat.11/28/20; liaison with Village businesses to help prepare for stroll weekend.
